CooBase desiccant rotors are essential core parts of dehumidification equipments.
CooBase honeycomb structures of desiccant rotor can greatly improve contact areas of air and absorbents such as efficient silica gel and molecular sieves, etc. so as to give full play to the dehumidification efficacy of driers. The specific working principles is: Generally, we divide a rotary rotor into two ventilation channels: one is for processing and the other for regeneration. When air to be processed passe through the honeycomb channels in the processing area of the rotary rotor, the moisture is absorbed by the desiccant media on the rotor and becomes dry. Meanwhile, there is another air duct used for regeneration. The heated high-temperature regeneration air passe through the regeneration area of the rotor, and the water adsorbed on the wheel is desorbed and discharged. The entire processing runs in a cyclic and uninterrupted manner to continuously provide stable dry air.
The core media of CooBase rotor is manufactured using Sweden's mature production technology in a US production facility. The stability, reliability and high adsorption efficiency of the products were experienced by decades in the market. The effective adsorption material of CooBase rotor is 82% of core material, so it has high adsorption efficiency. It was proved by NREL us that the adsorption efficiency of CooBase rotor is 8.5% higher than contrasting samples.
CooBase Rotor media has excellent fireproof performance which had been tested by US Authority (ASTM)E-84,achieved a flame-spread index of zero and a smoke index of zero,Also passed the Intertek fire inspection certification. At the same time, in order to support the C919 project,It has passed the inspection of the Civil Aviation Administration of China.
The surface compression strength of CooBase rotor is over 200Kpar(2.0kg/cm2), can be blown washed by compressed air no more than 4Bar or non-alkaline water washed. There are also some tightening bolts for termly fastening, easy to maintain, so as to keep a longer working life.
CooBase desiccant media will retain 90% of it's original capacity over a 10 year period (87,600hrs) when operated in clean air.
The CooBase rotor is tested by the ALl International antibacterial Institute, There is no any mildew risk, and is in line with the OSHA Occupational Safety and Health Council's relevant health requirements. Rotor surface is protected by a kind of water-based painting which is according with environmental protection requirement and can bear high temperature with high wear-resistant function.
